Meet Clarence O. Taylor IV, PhD
Clarence O. Taylor IV is a trial lawyer whose fundamental premise is honesty and integrity with both clients and the Court. Clarence is the owner of The Taylor Law Group, and was admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia in 2001. Since that time he has served as a Magistrate Judge, and managed his private law practice in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Taylor is an experienced trial attorney with excellent relationships across the state of Georgia with prosecutors, judges and court workers. These relationships enable attorney Taylor to better navigate clients through an otherwise overwhelming and intimidating legal system.
Background & Education
Dr. Taylor is passionate about the practice of law and his ability to combine his legal experience with his background in psychology during his representation of clients. Clarence received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia in 1991. In 1998 he was awarded his Doctorate from the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services at Georgia State University. He then received his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in December of 2000 and was admitted to the practice of law in Georgia in May, 2001.
After gaining significant experience with a boutique family law practice, Clarence left that firm to begin a partnership which subsequently became Clarence O. Taylor IV, P.C., and The Taylor Law Group. Presently, the Firm maintains a domestic law and family law practice in Marietta, Georgia.

Clarence represents clients zealously and believes that parties to divorce and family law litigation are entitled to maintain the dignity and respect they deserve and have previously enjoyed. Dr. Taylor works extensively in all facets of divorce and family law, including: divorce, dissolution, child custody, child support issues, child custody disputes, alimony and spousal support issues, marital settlement agreements and prenuptial agreements and prenuptial agreements, juvenile court deprivation actions, adoptions, contempt proceedings and various other domestic relation matters. Clarence has successfully tried domestic and divorce matters, along with highly contested child custody cases, making client advocacy, along with child advocacy, his paramount concern. Clarence offers his clients tremendous insight in handling their cases by combining his psychological knowledge and legal experience.
